Global Adjusting Technical Services (GATS) appoints Alex Salikin as Regional Technical Director – Major and Complex Losses
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Alex Salikin joined Global Adjusting Technical Services on 27th May 2025, as Regional Technical Director – Major and Complex Losses.
Alex started his career as an Investigator with the Singapore Police Force. He then put his investigative skills to good use as a Loss Adjuster for 23 years. During his time as an adjuster,
Alex handled numerous large and complex losses in Singapore and abroad with claims handling experience over all classes of insurance, with a primary focus on property and casualty losses and business interruption claims.
During his time as a loss adjuster, Alex obtained his qualification as a Senior Associate under the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF).
In 2012, Alex joined First Capital Insurance Ltd. [now known as MS First Capital Insurance Limited (MSFC)). Save for a brief stint as Claims Controller at one of the largest integrated palm oil companies with a presence in 13 countries (for 1-2 years), Alex has remained with MSFC since 2012.
In his role as Head of Non – Motor Claims, Alex not only manages the entire Non – Motor Claims department comprising 45 personnel, he oversees all large and complex claims both local and worldwide, which forms the bulk of MSFC’s underwriting portfolio.
