Global Adjusting Technical Services (GATS) appoints Steve Norrington as Regional Director – Major and Complex Losses

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Steve Norrington joined Global Adjusting Technical Services on 2nd April 2024, as Regional Director – Major and Complex Losses

In 1975, Steve started his career at Exxon Mobil at their Coryton Oil Refinery, UK, progressing to the position of Project Engineer.

In 1984 he joined an International Loss Adjusting company, initially based in London, then subsequent overseas postings in Singapore, Venezuela and USA.

In 1992 Steve returned to London with Crawford, working on major property damage and business interruption losses within the power generation, oil refining and petrochemical sectors.

In 2012, Steve was seconded to Crawford Thailand to lead a team dealing with large and complex losses as a result of the extensive flooding in 2011. Several of these losses exceeded USD 300 million.

In 2017, Steve joined Integra Technical Services dealing with various large and complex losses. Over the years Steve has dealt with losses involving Thermal, Nuclear and Hydro Power Generation as well as Oil Refining and Petrochemical.

In 2024, Steve joined GATS to assist us with large and complex property damage and business interruption losses within the power generation, oil refining and petrochemical sectors.

Steve has a BSc (Hons) Mechanical Engineering, Chartered Engineer (CEng), Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE) and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (FCILA).
