Global Adjusting Technical Services at Asia-Pacific Claims Convention 2026 (ACC26)
The claims landscape is facing two massive disruptors: unprecedented catastrophic events and the rapid integration of AI. How is the industry responding?
At the recent ACC26 arranged by AICLA, Global Adjusting Technical Services (GATS) were one of the Gold Sponsors.
Real technical expertise involves looking past the surface of a claim. Our leadership took to the stage to address the region’s most pressing challenges:
1. Seismic Realities: Our Director, Pongsagorn Lapwattanamongkol, broke down the structural and claims implications of the 2025 Myanmar Earthquake, exposing the critical differences in building codes and damage effects between Thailand and Myanmar.
2. The Future of Adjusting: Our Regional Technical Director, Ben Chin joined the panel on “The Next Generation – AI or Human?”, cutting through the hype to define exactly where Artificial Intelligence ends and human technical judgment must begin.
Complex claims require more than just a site visit; they require an understanding of engineering, regional risks, and the tools of tomorrow.
Thank you to AICLA for such an enjoyable and well organised ACC26. We look forward to continuing to elevate the technical standards of loss adjusting across Asia-Pacific.
