Our Liability Department has the resources and capability to resolve the full range of liability claims, from simple slip and trip incidents, serious injuries and fatalities, to multi-claimant property damage and financial loss.

This expertise spans various industries, enabling us to field multi-disciplined teams with the right mix of skills. Our approach focuses on resolution. To enable this, we have developed an investigation process that identifies cases, which can be defended, and those that warrant early settlement. Key features include seeking to avoid litigation and minimise conflict.

We adopt an investigative approach that addresses all the relevant relationships and the entire sequence of events, this results in a clear and focused enquiry into quantum using our Accountants, Engineers and other specialists.

We are able to comment on liability in-line with the Law and Jurisdiction, undertake investigation/ statements and calculate compensation awards based on Law and case history. Our in-house specialists can investigate pollution, environmental risks, structural collapses, mechanical breakdown and food chain losses.

Our aim is to prevent litigation wherever possible and appropriate. In those cases where litigation is required we provide expert witnesses from across the business and work with appointed solicitors to manage the process to your best advantage.
